Overview

This standard specifies shapes and dimensions for ball seats intended for use with supporting, grinding or polishing tools in optical manufacturing. The ball seats can be connected to the tools by working them in, screwing them in, pressing them in or inserting them. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 027-01-11 AA "Fertigungsmittel der Optik" ("Production means in optical engineering") at DIN Standards Committee Optics and Precision Mechanics (NAFuO).
