Overview

The test method according to this standard is used to determine the adhesive strength between load-bearing laminates of glass fibre reinforced plastics (GFRP) based on reaction resin moulding materials and the lining of apparatus, containers and pipes. The tensile stress occurs perpendicularly to the bond. The test results obtained can be used to determine the load-bearing capacity of the bond, for example under stress caused by temperature changes. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 054-05-09 AA "Rohre und Rohrleitungsteile aus Reaktionsharzformstoffen" ("Pipes and pipe fittings made of reaction resin moulded materials") at DIN Standards Committee Plastics (FNK).
