Shaft sinking - Pulleys for flat winding ropes - Safety requirements and testing

Title (German)

Schachtbau - Seilscheiben für Flachförderseile - Sicherheitstechnische Anforderungen und Prüfung

Overview

The single-piece pulleys with spherical roller bearings and two-piece bearing housings specified in this standard are mainly used in the construction and maintenance of vertical and inclined shafts. The standard has been prepared using specifications from DIN 22410 "Winding rope pulleys for round ropes". The dimensions for bearing housings, bearings and conical spring washers have been taken from this standard. In accordance with practical requirements, the standard has 5 nominal pulley diameters up to a size of 3 000 mm; the largest nominal rope width to be used is 194 mm. High-quality materials are specified for the axle, pulley, bearing and bearing housing in order to ensure the required safety. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 008-01-01 AA "Schachtbau" ("Shaft sinking") at DIN Standards Committee Mining (FABERG).
