DIN 22109-6
Conveyor belts with textile plies for coalmining - Part 6: Testing

Title (German)

Textil-Fördergurte für den Steinkohlenbergbau - Teil 6: Prüfungen

Overview

Conveyor belts are used in mining for the continuous transport of large quantities of bulk material over sometimes long distances. The largely automatic and unmanned operation, the critical operating conditions and the often inhomogeneous material conveyed place great demands on the conveyor belt. In underground hard coal mining, only conveyor belts for which certain fire engineering, mining hygiene and electrical properties have been verified may be used. The standard applies to the testing of conveyor belts with textile plies in accordance with DIN 22109-1, DIN 22109-2 and DIN 22109-4 used in underground hard coal mining. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 008-05-03 AA "Fördergurte" ("Conveyor belts") at DIN Standards Committee Mining (FABERG).
