Overview

This European Standard specifies a method for deriving the minimum proof strength values for steels at elevated temperatures. The following fundamental changes were made within the scope of this revision: definition for fav(t) revised, specifications for ratio values f(t) and references for test sampling changed, respectively. In addition, the structure of the standard has been revised. The responsible German standardization committee is Subcommittee 04/2 "Stähle für den Druckbehälterbau" ("Steels for pressure purposes") at DIN Standards Committee Iron and Steel (FES).
