DIN 21917-2
Mine plans - Strata and ground movements - Part 2: Geotechnical measuring points

Title (German)

Bergmännisches Risswerk - Gebirgs- und Bodenbewegungen - Teil 2: Geotechnische Messstellen

Overview

Geotechnical measurements are carried out in underground and surface mining for a variety of reasons. Signs, abbreviations and terms are specified that are to be used in the documentation of geotechnical measuring points in mine plans. This standard contains specifications for measurements of convergence, using extensometers, inclination, for crack monitoring, stresses, position and height, vibrations, reflections, permeability, as well as for monitoring slopes and observing tilting. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 008-11-01-04 AK "Sonderdarstellungen" ("Special illustrations") of Working Committee "Mine-surveying" of FABERG.
