DIN EN 4604-005
Aerospace series - Cable, electrical, for signal transmission - Part 005: Cable, coaxial, 75 ohmx, 200 °C, type WL - Product standard; German and English version EN 4604-005:2015

Title (German)

Luft- und Raumfahrt - Elektrische Leitungen für Signalübertragungen - Teil 005: Koaxialkabel, 75 Ohm, 200 °C, Typ WL - Produktnorm; Deutsche und Englische Fassung EN 4604-005:2015

Overview

The standard series EN 4604 describes requirements for electrical cables for signal transmission for use in aircraft electrical systems. Part 005 specifies the required characteristics of a coaxial cable, 75 Ω, type WL, for use in aircraft electrical systems at operating temperature between -55 °C and 200 °C and especially for high frequency up to 3 GHz. The standards of the EN 4604 series are prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrics, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) declared the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD-STAN) responsible for the preparation of European standards (EN) for the field of aerospace. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 131-04-02 AA "Elektrische Leitungen" ("Electric cables") of the Aerospace Standards Committee at DIN.
