Overview

This technical specification provides assistance for vehicle drivers for the current speed recommendation or speed limit. This is realized with the help of intelligent traffic systems in the vehicle in which, for example, a current speed recommendation is given in bad weather conditions, which is not necessary in good weather conditions. In this context, the detection of environmental influences or specifications of speeds, the data processing and the generation of information services are the responsibility of the infrastructure stakeholders. This technical specification describes the overall process, but not how speed information should be presented in the vehicle.
