Title (German)

Luft- und Raumfahrt - Elektrische Rundsteckverbinder mit Bajonettkupplung, Betriebstemperatur 175 °C oder 200 °C konstant - Teil 007: Hermetischer fester Steckverbinder mit rundem Schweiß- oder Lötflansch - Produktnorm; Deutsche und Englische Fassung EN 3646-007:2015

Overview

The DIN EN 3646 series of standards describes the properties of electrical circular connectors with bayonet coupling for aerospace applications at operating temperatures of up to 175 °C or 200 °C continuous. The new edition of Part 007 defines the characteristics of hermetic fixed connectors with round welding or soldering flanges which are intended for continuous use in the operating temperature range from -65 °C to 175 °C or 200 °C. The standard applies to type Y as specified in Table 3. See EN 3646-008 and EN 3646-009 for associated free connectors and protective caps. The following changes have been made compared to the previous edition DIN EN 3646-007:2007-05: a) The diameter values A in Table 2 have been changed. The standards of the EN 3646 series are prepared by the ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrotechnology, with the participation of German experts from DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL). AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN) has been declared responsible by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) for preparing European Standards (EN) for the field of aerospace. ASD became the associated body (ASB) of CEN by the agreement dated 1986-10-03. The responsible German standardization body is Working Committee NA 131-04-03 AA "Elektrische Verbindungselemente" ("Electrical Connectors") at DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
