Conveyor belts with textile plies for coalmining - Part 1: Monopoly belts for underground applications - Dimensions, requirements

Title (German)

Textil-Fördergurte für den Steinkohlenbergbau - Teil 1: Fördergurte mit einer Einlage für unter Tage - Maße, Anforderungen

Overview

Conveyor belts are used in mining applications for the continuous transport of large amounts of loose bulk materials, sometimes over long distances. Due to the mainly automatic and unmanned operation, the critical conditions of use and the often inhomogeneous nature of the conveyed material, the conveyor belt is subject to high requirements. In hard coal underground mining, only belt joints with specific verified flammability, mining hygiene and electrical properties shall be used. The standard applies to monopoly belts with textile plies used in underground hard coal mining applications. It specifies the dimensions of and requirements for these conveyor belts. The standard has been prepared by NA 008-05-03 AA "Fördergurte" ("Conveyor belts") of the Standards Committee Mining (FABERG).
