Overview
DIN 65002 contains the technical specifications for circular electrical connectors for application in aircraft. The electrical plug connectors are suitable for ambient temperatures of -55 °C to the relevant permitted maximum temperature of 175 °C, 200 °C or 260 °C up to nominal voltages of 28 V d.c. or 115/200 V a.c. and frequencies of 320 Hz to 1 000 Hz or for signal voltages having frequencies up to 3 MHz. This document differs from DIN 65002:1986-09 as follows: The scope has been modified. This document does not apply to new design. In comparison with the previous document, no technical modifications have been made. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 131-04-03 AA "Elektrische Verbindungselemente" ("Electrical Connectors") of the DIN Standards Committee Aerospace (NL).
