Overview

This European Standard specifies requirements for flat natural stone slabs used as paving units for internal (including enclosed public transport premises) and/or external uses in floors and stairs including skirtings. This European Standard does not cover mineral aggregates and artificial agglomerated stone material and does not cover installation. The document is a revision of DIN EN 12058:2005 and has been amended mainly with regard to the Construction Products Regulation. The product standard is intended for manufacturers and dealers of floor slabs and step coverings made of natural stone as well as testing institutes. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 062-03-11 GA "Gemeinschaftsarbeitsausschuss NMP/NABau: Naturwerkstein; Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren und Terminologie" ("Joint Working Committee NMP/NABau: Natural stone; Requirements, test methods and terminology") at DIN.
