DIN 21913-6
Mine plans - Deep mining - Part 6: Safekeeping

Title (German)

Bergmännisches Risswerk - Tiefbau - Teil 6: Sanierung

Overview

In order to avoid or at least reduce subsidence and other adverse effects, in particular those on public safety and order, cavities caused by mining activities shall be kept safe by permanently effective measures. Safekeeping of inaccessible cavities is generally carried out by inserting backfilling materials through boreholes. The standard provides the abbreviations, symbols, terms and definitions required for the documentation of safekeeping activities. For cavities not caused by mining activities, the standard may be applied accordingly. The standard gives detailed examples of applications. The standard has been prepared by NA 008-11-01-05 AK "Grubenbaue" ("Underground workings") of Working Committee "Markscheidewesen" ("Mine surveying") of FABERG.
