Overview

This standard specifies suspension devices for infusion bottles in accordance with DIN EN ISO 8536-1. The suspension devices are fixed to infusion racks or set-up devices. They are intended for multiple use. Compliance with these requirements ensures safe suspension of infusion bottles during administering of their contents. With respect to DIN ISO 15375:2006-03, this standard has merely been editorially revised. The International standard DIN ISO 15375:2010 has been prepared by ISO/TC 76 "Transfusion, infusion and injection, and blood processing equipment for medical and pharmaceutical use" with the participation of German experts. The committee responsible for this standard is Working Committee NA 063-02-03 AA "Verpackungssysteme für die Befüllung und Applikation von medizinischen Produkten" ("Packaging systems for filling and application of medical products") at the Medical Standards Committee (NAMed).
