Overview
This document deals with the destructive testing of welds. This document specifies specimen dimensions and testing procedures for impact tensile shear and cross-tension testing of resistance spot and embossed projection welds in overlapping sheets, in any metallic material of thickness 0,5 mm to 4 mm. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 092-00-12-07 AK "Prüfen von Widerstandsschweißverbindungen (DVS AG V 3.9)" ("Testing of resistance-welded joints (DVS AG V 3.9)") at DIN.
