DIN EN ISO 17778
Plastics piping systems - Fittings, valves and ancillaries - Determination of gaseous flow rate/pressure drop relationships (ISO 17778:2015); German version EN ISO 17778:2015

Title (German)

Kunststoff-Rohrleitungssysteme - Formstücke, Armaturen und Zubehörteile - Bestimmung des Zusammenhanges zwischen Gasdurchfluss und Druckabfall (ISO 17778:2015); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 17778:2015

Overview

This European Standard specifies a method for determining the flow rate/pressure drop relationship of components for plastics piping systems when tested using air at 25 mbar. The standard is intended to be applied by manufacturers and users of components for plastics piping systems as well as by relevant testing institutes. The standard particularly considers product safety aspects. DIN EN ISO 17778 is the German version of the standard published by ISO as ISO 17778 and by CEN as EN ISO 17778. The committee responsible for DIN EN ISO 17778 is NA 054-05-02 AA "Prüfverfahren für Rohre" ("Test methods for pipes") at DIN.
