DIN ISO 15000-5
Electronic Business Extensible Markup Language (ebXML) - Part 5: Core Components Specification (CCS) (ISO 15000-5:2014)
Erweiterbare Auszeichnungssprache für das elektronische Geschäftswesen (ebXML) - Teil 5: Spezifikation der Kernkomponenten (CCS) (ISO 15000-5:2014)
Overview
The standard contains the basic specifications for developing of Core Components. It can be employed wherever business information is being shared or exchanged amongst and between enterprises, governmental agencies, and/or other organizations in an open and worldwide environment. The Core Components user community consists of business and governmental users, business document modellers and business data modellers, Business Process modellers, and application developers of different organizations that require interoperability of business information. This interoperability covers both interactive and batch exchanges of business data between applications through the use of internet and web-based information exchanges, as well as traditional Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. The standard forms the basis for standards development work of business analysts, business users and information technology specialists supplying the content for applications that will use a Core Component Library (CCL). The library is stored in a data base of the UN/CEFACT (United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business) and is identified in an ebXML conform registry. Due to development opportunities of the UN/CEFACT Core Component Library, the standard contains further information designed for the business community and which allows additional discoveries or analysis of business processes. DIN ISO 15000-5 is a new edition of DIN V 16566-1 taking into account, on the one hand, the conversion of the previous Technical Specification of ISO (ISO/TS 15000-5) into an ISO standard and, on the other hand, ISO Amendment 1:2011 to ISO/TS. The ISO standard has been prepared at ISO/TC 154 "Processes, data elements and documents in commerce, industry and administration". The committee responsible on the national level is NA 043-03-03 AA "Elektrisches Geschäftswesen" ("Electronic Business") at DIN e. V.
