Overview

This part of the standard series DIN 72552 specifies codes of terminal markings. Furthermore, reference is made to their basic or index designations as well as their use for the particular equipment groups and circuits according to the requirements of DIN 72552-4, and to examples of application according to DIN 72552-3. This enables vehicle manufacturers and suppliers of electrical systems to specify an identical interface definition for electrical terminals.
