DIN 30745
Radio-frequency identification of waste containers by transponder technology using frequencies below 135 kHz and 868 MHz; Text in German and English
Elektronische Identifikation von Abfallsammelbehältern durch Transpondertechnologie mit Frequenzen unter 135 kHz und 868 MHz; Text Deutsch und Englisch
Overview
This standard describes requirements for the electronic identification of mobile waste containers with 2 wheels and a capacity up to 400 l intended for Diamond lifting device, mobile waste containers with 4 wheels and a capacity up to 1 700 l intended for Diamond lifting device, mobile waste containers with a capacity over 1 700 l and stationary waste containers with a capacity ≥ 1 700 l, multi bucket containers according to DIN 30720, roller containers according to DIN 30722, containers for special waste, containers for depot, underground systems. Based on the specifications of DIN EN 14803, it describes electronic identification of the aforementioned waste containers using transponder technology. It specifies the positions of the transponder (data carriers) at the waste container, and it further defines their technical specification as well as data content and operating range. The operating frequency and air interface of the transponder, as specified here, shall also apply for waste containers according to DIN EN 840-1 to DIN EN 840-4. The responsible body involved in its preparation is NA 051-05-01 AA "Identifizieren und Wägen (Spiegelgremium für CEN/TC 183/WG 3)" ("Identification and weighing (mirror committee for CEN/TC 183/WG 3)") at DIN.
