Overview

This standard specifies requirements for the design, marking, storage, transportation, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of steel expansion joints intended to be used in piping systems onboard ships. It also specifies the tests to be carried out and the test conditions. Guidance is provided for the necessary certificates, inspection documents and approvals.
