Title (German)

Eurocode 9: Bemessung und Konstruktion von Aluminiumtragwerken - Teil 1-1: Allgemeine Bemessungsregeln; Deutsche Fassung EN 1999-1-1:2007 + A1:2009 + A2:2013

Overview

EN 1999-1-1 applies to the design of buildings and civil engineering and structural works in aluminium. It complies with the principles and requirements for the load bearing capacity and serviceability of structures, the basis of their design and verification that are given in EN 1990 "Basis of structural design". EN 1999 is only concerned with requirements for resistance, serviceability, durability and fire resistance of aluminium structures. Other requirements, for example concerning thermal or sound insulation, are not considered. The European Amendment A2 has been incorporated into this new edition. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-08-07 AA "Aluminiumkonstruktionen (SpA zu CEN/TC 250/SC 9 und CEN/TC 135)" ("Aluminium structures (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 250/SC 9 and CEN/TC 135)") at DIN.
