Overview
This European Standard is applicable to the natural zeolites clinoptilolite, chabasite and phillipsite/analcime. In addition to the purity criteria and the corresponding analytical methods, requirements for labelling, transport and storage of the products as well as specific safety rules are specified. Furthermore, it contains information on physical and chemical properties and general information on manufacturing and use of the products. This European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 164/WG 9 "Drinking water treatment" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) with the active involvement of the German Working Committee NA 119-04-02 AA "Wasseraufbereitung" ("Water treatment") of NAW.
