Overview

This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure was developed within a workshop set up on a temporary basis. The document was developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. This document applies to synthetic turf systems using prefabricated shock pads (e-layers). This document gives practical guidance for implementation of and compliance with the specifications of DIN EN 15330-1 and gives requirements and recommendations for the individual layers beneath the synthetic turf surfacing in order to meet the requirements in DIN EN 15330-1 for the turf system as a whole. This document contains supplementary provisions and recommendations relating to synthetic turf systems that do not contradict those set out in DIN EN 15330-1. The document is not suitable for use in the construction of synthetic turf systems using insitu shockpads.
