This standard specifies the construction and sizes of round- or spiral-plated man-made fibre ropes. This standard only contains the types E, K and H and is a supplement to the standards DIN EN ISO 1140, DIN EN ISO 1141 and DIN EN ISO 1346. Ropes in accordance with this standard are used primarily on ships.
