DIN 15750
Entertainment technology - Guidelines for technical services
Veranstaltungstechnik - Leitlinien für technische Dienstleistungen
Overview
This standard specifies guidelines for the organizational prerequisites for quality-based and legally compliant execution of entertainment technology services. In today's event management sector, entertainment technology services are required at various locations; these include, amongst others, meeting locations as well as event and production sets for scenic presentations. Meeting locations as well as event and production sets for scenic presentations are, for instance, theatres, multi-purpose halls, broadcasting and television studios, stage and playing areas in concert halls, exhibitions and trade shows, shows, events, discoteques, vaudevilles, open air theatres, sports facilities and open air events. This standard is not applicable for planning and set-up of stationary event sets. This standard specifies guidelines for the responsibilities to be observed by all participants (for instance event organizers, operators, service providers) for execution of entertainment events. The aim of this standard is to ensure operational safety and protection of persons and property at entertainment events through quality-oriented services. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 149-00-04 AA "Licht- und Medientechnik" ("Lighting- and Media Technology") at the Entertainment Technology, Photography and Cinematography Standards Committee (NVBF) at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V. and has been designed as a service standard.
