DIN EN 16245-4
Fibre-reinforced plastic composites - Declaration of raw material characteristics - Part 4: Specific requirements for fabrics; German version EN 16245-4:2013

Title (German)

Faserverstärkte Verbundwerkstoffe - Angabe von Werkstoffeigenschaften - Teil 4: Spezifische Anforderungen an Gewebe; Deutsche Fassung EN 16245-4:2013

Overview

This part of this European Standard specifies the minimum information to be declared for fabrics to be used for the manufacturing of composites products, also impregnated products. The specifications do not apply for the impregnated products themselves. These specific declaration requirements are in addition to the general requirements given in Part 1 of this standard. This document includes requirements for the Certificate of Analysis (CoA). The purpose of the CoA is to verify that material properties and quality conform to the declared values. This part of the standard is applicable to uni-axial and multi-axial fabric material. The European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 249 "Plastics", the secretariat of which is held by NBN (Belgium). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 054-02-02 AA "Rieselfähige Duroplaste und langfaserverstärkte Kunststoffe" ("Pourable thermosets and long-fibre-reinforced plastics") at the Plastics Standards Committee (FNK) at DIN.
