DIN 4126
Stability analysis of diaphragm walls
Nachweis der Standsicherheit von Schlitzwänden
Overview
With respect to DIN 1054:2010-12 the standard contains expanding and supplementary calculation methods and takes into account the partial factor concept in accordance with DIN EN 1990:2010-12, Eurocode: Basis of structural design and DIN EN 1997-1:2009-09, Eurocode 7: Geotechnical design - Part 1: General rules. DIN 4126 regulates the stability analysis of the open slots and contains supplementary rules for stability analysis of the hardened in situ barrettes. The test methods for supporting liquids and diaphragm walls clay have been re-adapted in DIN 4127, a pure test standard, which no longer contains requirements for supporting liquids and diaphragm walls clay. These are regulated in DIN EN 1538. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-05-13 AA "Schlitzwände (SpA zu CEN/TC 288/WG 1 und WG 15)" ("Diaphragm walls (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 288/WG 1 and WG 5)") at DIN.
