DIN EN ISO 2739
Sintered metal bushings - Determination of radial crushing strength (ISO 2739:2012); German version EN ISO 2739:2012

Title (German)

Buchsen aus Sintermetall - Bestimmung der radialen Bruchfestigkeit (ISO 2739:2012); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 2739:2012

Overview

This International Standard ISO 2739:2012 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 119 "Powder metallurgy" of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been adopted as EN ISO 2739:2012. This International Standard specifies a method of measuring the radial crushing strength of sintered metal parts in the form of hollow cylinders, commonly known as bushes. This method is applicable to sintered bushes composed of pure or alloyed metal powders. This standard differs from DIN EN ISO 2739:2010-08 as follows: a) clause 3 "Apparatus" has been revised; b) clause 5 "Procedure" has been revised; c) in Table 1 "Precision data", new materials C-T10G-K160 and F-08C2-340 have been included; d) clause 8 "Test report" has been revised; e) the standard has been editorially revised. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 145-01-03 AA "Probenahme und Prüfverfahren für Sintermetalle" ("Sampling and testing methods for sintered metal materials") of the Technology of Materials Standards Committee (NWT) at DIN, the German Institute for Standardisation e. V.
