Overview

ATV DIN 18354 "Asphalt flooring work" has been kept at the status of the April 2010 edition by the German Committee for construction contract procedures (DVA). Only the reference to the VOB/A has been updated in clause 0. It applies for the manufacture of - the laying of mastic asphalt screed as specified in standard series DIN 18560 "Floor screeds in building construction"; - mastic asphalt to protect waterproofing as specified in DIN 18195-10 "Water-proofing of buildings - Part 10: Protective layers and protective measures"; - mastic asphalt in combination with waterproofing work as specified in DIN 18195-5 "Water-proofing of buildings - Part 5: Water-proofing against non-pressing water on floors and in wet areas; design and execution"; - the laying of mastic asphalt screed as specified in DIN EN 14879-3 "Organic coating systems and linings for protection of industrial apparatus and plants against corrosion caused by aggressive media - Part 3: Coatings on concrete components"; - the preparation of impervious mastic asphalt coatings and linings of tanks or containers in contact with water polluting agents.
