Title (German)

Membranen für Gasverteilung und Installation - Teil 2: Anforderungen und Prüfung von verstärktem Elastomer-Membranwerkstoff

Overview

This standard applies for requirements and testing of diaphragm material (see 3.1) reinforced by woven or knitted fabrics for gas distribution and installation which come in contact with gases according to the DVGW Code of Practice G 260. The requirements of Table 1, clause 4.2 of this standard can be used for non-reinforced diaphragm material. The operating temperature ranges in accordance with this standard are 0 °C to +60 °C and -10 °C to +60 °C; however the manufacturer can provide deviating operating temperature ranges. At temperatures below zero, a gradation by 5 °C (for example, -15 °C, -20 °C, etcetera) and at temperatures above zero, a gradation by 10 °C (for example, +70 °C, +80 °C, etcetera) shall be observed.
