Title (German)

Elastische Bodenbeläge - Bestimmung der Dichte (ISO 23996:2007); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 23996:2012

Overview

This standard specifies two methods for determining the density of homogeneous resilient floor coverings and solid layers of other resilient floor coverings. The standard is directed at manufacturers and test facilities of homogeneous resilient floor coverings. This document is intended to provide the user with internationally recognised methods for the determination of the density of homogeneous resilient floor coverings and solid layers of other resilient floor coverings. The standard includes quality aspects. DIN EN ISO 23996 is the German version of an International Standard which has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 219 "Floor coverings" and which has been adopted by Technical Committee CEN/TC 134 "Resilient, textile and laminate floor coverings". The committee at DIN responsible for this standard is Working Committee NA 054-04-05 AA "Bodenbeläge" ("Floor coverings") at the Plastics Standards Committee (FNK).
