Overview

The standard DIN EN ISO 24343-1 specifies a method for determining the residual indentation produced in a resilient or laminate floor covering after the application and removal of a constant load. The International Standard ISO 24343-1:2007 has been prepared by ISO/TC 219 "Floor coverings" (secretariat: KATS, Korea). The committee responsible for the European Standard is CEN/TC 134 "Resilient, textile and laminate floor coverings", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). On the national level, the committee responsible for this standard is Joint Working Committee NA 054-04-08 GA "Gemeinschaftsarbeitsausschuss FNK/NHM: Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 134 und ISO/TC 219" ("Joint Working Committee FNK/NHM: Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 134 and ISO/TC 219") at FNK.
