DIN EN 61307
Industrial microwave heating installations - Test methods for the determination of power output (IEC 61307:2011); German version EN 61307:2011

Title (German)

Industrielle Mikrowellen-Erwärmungsanlagen - Messverfahren für die Bestimmung der Ausgangsleistung (IEC 61307:2011); Deutsche Fassung EN 61307:2011

Overview

This standard contains test methods for the determination of the available microwave output power in comparison to the electrical input power and the efficiency of frequency conversion of industrial microwave heating installations in the frequency range from 300 MHz to 300 GHz. For this purpose, particular attention is drawn to practice-oriented determination of the useful output power. As a result, unrealistically high figures based on idealized methods normally used for household microwave installations are made more complicated. The responsible committee is K 362 "Industrielle Elektrowärme" ("Industrial electroheating equipment") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
