Overview

The tolerances specified in this standard are applicable for the threaded portion of thread taps with ground profile, thread diameter of more than 2,8 mm and pitch ≥ 0,5 mm, suitable for the manufacture of ISO metric internal threads of tolerances 7G and 8G. Moreover, this document regulates the application of special tolerances applicable for materials to be specially processed and for special processing cases. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-01-04 AA "Gewindebohrer und Schneideisen" ("Taps and dies") at the Tools and Clamping Devices Standards Committee (FWS).
