Ships and marine technology - System co-ordination plans in shipbuilding; Text in German and English
Schiffe und Meerestechnik - Systemkoordinierungspläne im Schiffbau; Text Deutsch und Englisch
Overview
This standard is a product standard for ships and marine technology and specifies basics for the design performance of systems co-ordination of commercial vessels and vessels of the navy. DIN 86080 is not applicable to workshop drawings for piping in double bottoms, tanks, cofferdams, etcetera, for which parts lists are provided. An important part of the standard is to specify guidelines and recommendations for the appropriate arrangement and co-ordination of cable trays, ventilation ducts and systems in shipbuilding. The document describes the types of system co-ordination, the scope of system co-ordination, the concepts of work and the groups of drawings and documents to be considered in chronological order. Due to the specified order of system co-ordination, the principal arrangement of the co-ordination runs is already considered during the design of the vessel and of its steel structure which results in significant cost savings for prefabrication and subsequent mounting. Presentation examples of co-ordination runs or arrangements, such as deck penetrations, are given in tables and figures and recommendations for the arrangement of systems are documented.
