Holzverbindungsmittel - Spezifikationen für Dübel besonderer Bauart für Holz; Deutsche Fassung EN 912:2011
Overview
This European Standard specifies the dimensions and the materials of certain well-established connectors for use in joints between members in load-bearing timber structures. For data on strength and deformation properties of joints made with the connectors, reference is given to EN 13271. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN EN 912:2001-02: a) nominal dimension is mandatory; b) tolerances have been partly modified; c) the dimensions of connectors of type B1 in Table B.1 have been modified; d) incorrect information about material "H320M" has been replaced by "HC340LA"; e) information about material "FeP02G" has been replaced by "DX51D+Z275 or AZ150"; f) in Table C.1, the thickness t for connectors with dc 140 mm and 165 mm has been increased to 2 mm; g) Figures C.1, C.3 and C.4 have been supplemented (holes have been added); h) standard has been adapted to the current design rules. This document (EN 912:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 124 "Timber structures", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 005-04-01 AA "Holzbau" (Spiegelausschuss von CEN/TC 124, CEN/TC 250/SC 5) ("Timber structures") (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 124, CEN/TC 250/SC 5) at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e.
