Title (German)

Metalle und Legierungen - Korrosionsversuche in der Atmosphäre - Allgemeine Anforderungen (ISO 8565:2011); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 8565:2011

Overview

This International Standard specifies general requirements for stationary corrosion testing of metals and metallic and other inorganic coatings under atmospheric conditions carried out in the open air or under shelters. These specifications can also be applied for corrosion testing of complex specimens and mounted assemblies of metallic materials. This document (EN ISO 8565:2011) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 156 "Corrosion of metals and alloys", the secretariat of which is held by SAC (People's Republic of China), and has been adopted within the framework of the Vienna Agreement by CEN/TC 262 "Metallic and other inorganic coatings", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 062-01-71 AA "Korrosion und Korrosionsschutz" ("Corrosion and corrosion protection") of the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP).
