Overview
This standard defines the general assembly characteristics which shall be applied to pantographs, to enable current collection from the overhead line system. It also defines the tests which shall be carried out on pantographs, excluding insulators. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 351.1 "Fahrzeuge" ("Rolling stock") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
