Overview

This standard specifies general requirements for surveying activities at constructions sites and their elements (for instance industrial plants, transportation facilities, machinery plants) and other objects. The specifications and verifications of this standard contribute to making specific arrangements for surveying activities. It is also the aim of the standard to standardise the quality and the verification of engineering surveys; it ensures that the results of such surveys can be correctly interpreted. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-03-01 AA "Geodäsie" ("Geodesy") at DIN.
