Hardmetals - Determination of calcium, copper, iron, potassium, magnesium, manganese, sodium, nickel and zinc in cobalt metal powders - Flame atomic absorption spectrometric method (ISO 11876:2010); German version EN ISO 11876:2010

Title (German)

Hartmetalle - Bestimmung des Calcium-, Kupfer-, Eisen-, Kalium-, Magnesium-, Mangan-, Natrium-, Nickel- und Zinkgehaltes in Kobalt-Metallpulvern - Verfahren mit Flammen-Atomabsorptionsspektrometrie (ISO 11876:2010); Deutsche Fassung EN ISO 11876:2010

Overview

This document (FprEN ISO 11876:2010) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 119 "Powder metallurgy" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC SS M11 "Pulvermetallurgie" ("Powder metallurgy"), the secretariat of which is held by CEN. The responsible German Committee is Working Committee NA 145-01-04 AA "Probenahme und Prüfverfahren für Hartmetalle" ("Sampling and testing methods for hardmetals") of the Technology of Materials Standards Committee (NWT). This International Standard specifies a flame atomic absorption method to be used for the determination of the copper, potassium, magnesium, manganese, sodium and zinc contents in cobalt metal powders in the range of 0,001 % to 0,01 %, calcium content in the range of 0,002 % to 0,01 % and iron and nickel contents in the range of 0,002 % to 0,05 %.
