Overview

This standard defines the nominal pressures, test pressures, testing media, leakage rates and test duration for the leakage and component strength testing of pipelines, pipeline systems and their components on ships. Additionally, general information and information regarding constructive peculiarities, which shall be observed during the preparation and execution of the test, are supplied. This standard is the basis for planning, construction, testing and standardization of pipeline systems and their components.
