Overview

The EN 4199-005 standard series describes bonding straps for use in the on-board electrical systems of aircraft. Part 005 specifies the characteristics of flat braided conductors, copper/tin plated, -65 °C to 150 °C, and copper/nickel plated, -65 °C to 260 °C, for bonding straps according to EN 4199-001. These standards of the EN 4199 standard series have been prepared by ASD-STAN, Technical Section Electrics, Avionics, with the participation of German experts of the Aerospace Standards Committee. The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) declared the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD-STAN) responsible for the preparation of European standards (EN) for the field of aerospace.
