Overview
DIN ISO 702-4 specifies the sizes for interchangeability of cylindrical spindle noses and the corresponding connecting faces of face plates or work holding chucks. DIN 55026, DIN 55027, DIN 55028 and DIN 55029 are withdrawn with the publication of the DIN ISO 702-1 to DIN ISO 702-4 standard series. The International ISO 702 standard series, which forms the base for this DIN ISO standard series, has been prepared by ISO/TC 39/SC 8 "Work holding spindles and chucks", with the German collaboration of Working Committee NA 121-02-07 AA "Drehmaschinenspannzeuge und Zubehör" ("Lathe clamping devices and accessories") of FWS.
