© DIN

The Smart City Standard Forum (SCSF), under cooperation of DIN and DKE, sees itself as an information and networking platform within the topic complex of digital transformation for stakeholders and users from communities, politics, civil society, industry, associations, research and technical regulators.

Chaired by Klaus Illigmann (City of Munich) and Joachim Schonowski (msg systems AG), the forum counts around 25 experts from all sectors among its members.

The SCSF analyzes and coordinates ongoing standardization activities of the relevant committees in the field of Smart Cities, identifies fields of action and initiates new standardization projects from them, networks with relevant smart city actors and takes on a multiplier role.

In regular workshops on current Smart City topics, new standardization potentials are identified and recorded in impulse papers. A summary of the latest impulse paper is available for download on this site.
