Division 4 "Additive Manufacturing" of the Materials Technology Standards Committee (NWT) at DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. is responsible for the national standardization of additive manufacturing processes. It represents German standardization interests at European (CEN) and international (ISO) level. The field of work covers the standardization of additive manufacturing processes, their terms, process chains (hardware and software), test methods, quality parameters, supply agreements and their necessary bases.
