Diese Europäische Norm legt die Sicherheits-, Auslegungs-, Konstruktions- und Leistungsanforderungen sowie die Prüfung von Gasfiltern für Brenner und Brennstoffgeräte für einen oder mehrere gasförmige Brennstoffe fest. Die Neuausgabe ist durch die Herausgabe der Änderung 1 zur EN 16898:2022 erforderlich geworden. Durch diese Änderung wird im Anhang ZA die Verweisung zum bisherigen Mandat M/BC/CEN/06-89 durch den neue Normungsauftrag M/595 ersetzt.
