Smart Mature Resilience
Smart Mature Resilience (SMR) was a Horizon 2020 research project funded by the European Commission that started in June 2015 in San Sebastian (Spain). Over the course of three years, the project developed five different tools designed to increase the resilience of cities against threats. The following tools were developed:
- Maturity Model (MM);
- Risk Systemicity Questionnaire (RSQ);
- Resilience Information Portal (RP);
- City Resilience Dynamics Tool (CRD); and
- Resilience Building Policies tool (RBP).

DIN was responsible for standardization within the research project and developed together with project internal and external experts three CEN Workshop Agreements (CWA):
- CWA 17300 City Resilience Development – Operational Guidance;
- CWA 17301 City Resilience Development – Maturity Model;
- CWA 17302 City Resilience Development – Information Portal.
