Brief description
This part of the Code of Practice applies to metering locations with metering devices that comply with calibration law, which are equipped with a load recording device that complies with calibration law and whose energy is not determined in accordance with Part 4 "Meter reading-based energy determination" of DVGW Code of Practice 685. This also includes metering locations between neighboring network operators, between network operators and gas storage operators as well as feed-ins from production plants into the gas network. For the sake of simplicity, the term metering point operator is used for the operator of all the metering systems listed above.
