Brief description

This technical rule applies to the operation and maintenance (inspection, servicing, repair and improvement) of gas pipelines for the supply of gas to the general public and the associated energy systems on factory premises and in the area of operational gas use1) with a design pressure of more than 16 bar2) made of steel pipes that are used to transport gases of the 2nd and 5th gas family in accordance with DVGW Code of Practice G 260. The scope of application is not limited in terms of the maximum permissible operating pressure.
