Brief description

This Technical Rule G 453 applies to measures for the preparation of replacement documentation in the event of incomplete technical acceptance documentation for gas pipes with a design pressure > 5 bar made of steel pipes that are used to transport methane-rich gases (second gas family) and hydrogen (fifth gas family) in accordance with DVGW Code of Practice G 260. The scope of application is not limited upwards with regard to the design pressure. For gas pipes made of steel pipes with a design pressure of ≤ 5 bar, this worksheet can be applied accordingly.
